Meet Vanessa Guzman
Award - winning health care leader and author Vanessa Guzman MS, ME founded Ella Es Health bringing her expertise and track record of founding SmartRise Health to help health care and community organizations assess complex operational problems and devise health equity, strategic, quality improvement, and training initiatives to optimize outcomes and satisfaction among employees, partners, and patients.
Vanessa leverages her years of experience as a biomedical engineer, executive coach, and quality improvement executive in a multi- billion - dollar health system to make abstract challenges concrete, identifying inputs impacting progress and actionable plans to move forward.
Vanessa recently co - authorized the 2023 Women’s Health Opportunity Map along with colleagues from NIH and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Recent awards include 2022 Diversity Leaders to Watch, Modern Healthcare, 2018 Rising Stars: 90 healthcare leaders under 40, Modern Healthcare, 2017 Up and Comer’s Awards, Modern Healthcare.
