Episode #177 Creatively Advancing Public Health

A Brand New Year!

I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to a brand new year! The year 2020 was filled with ups and downs for me, as I know it was for many of you as well. One of the ways that I navigated through the tough parts of 2020 was to focus on what could be learned, and how I could be empowered by those lessons to move forward. On this episode, I’m going to explain why I’m focusing on my business theme of “creatively advancing public health” so strongly for this new year.

How Do You Like Our New Podcast Introduction & Theme?

I thought it would be a great way to kick off the new year!

We have all heard and probably even stated at some point, that “the field of public health is so broad!”

Large public health organizations often relay on partnerships with healthcare and other public health organizations (big and small) as well as consultants and non-traditional partnerships to reach specific populations and serve on various community levels.

I’ve worked in healthcare, government, and the pharmaceutical industry….and bring 20 collective years of experience to my public health consulting.

Through the experiences along my journey I’ve learned the importance of thinking creatively and taking inspired action.

I started this podcast and my business by taking creative action steps, but in 2020, I took creative action steps to a whole new level and learned so much about myself and my business in the process.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with all of my consulting and coaching clients and look forward to more of the same.

Doing this has helped me fine-tune the work that I do, the people I serve, and the products and services that I offer.

You are going to see, hear, and even feel more and more of the theme, “creatively advancing public health,” as we progress into this new year.

I strongly believe that it is important for public health to embrace creative thinking, approaches, and even partnerships.
