Never give up and don’t get discouraged. I took a long journey before I got to where I am.
Become a member of a public health professional association (e.g. CSTE and APHA) so that you can stay current with the public health arena.
Get involved in any way you can, even if it is just joining a conference call. You will find that you gain much from others.
